What does it mean to own something? What are the subconscious effects of ownership mentality? When we claim to own something, we are disrupting the natural flow of energy through it, which causes turmoil and turbulence as the energy finds other ways to flow around it. When we say things like "my trauma" or "my illness", we are claiming these experiences as part of our identity, along with all of the associated emotions like anger, pain, and victimhood. But these are not our true identity, these are just experiences. In this episode we explore the concept of ownership and its dangers as well as tools and how we can use them to change ourselves and our collective experience in the world.

How often do you check-in to see what's really behind the actions you take and the decisions you make? When life becomes stressful and overwhelming, we can often slip into autopilot / subconscious programming where our actions and behaviors are typically driven by fear. Conscious awareness practices help us to catch ourselves when we start to slip into subconscious programming sooner, which gives us the opportunity to change course before we exhaust ourselves. This is one major area where a consistent meditation practice starts to make a difference off the cushion -- over time we start to notice our own behavior more and more. We start to shift into the presence that observes the thinking and doing self and we can start taking action from an embodied place of love and intention. This is when our channels open up to inspiration and creativity and our intuition speaks to us loud and clear.

What if we trusted our bodies to heal emotional and energetic wounds the way we trust it to heal physical wounds?
The body knows how to heal, regenerate, and be whole. We don't consciously intervene in the natural healing processes thinking that we know intellectually how to heal a cut better than the automatic steps that the body goes through. So why do we think we know how to move energy through our bodies better than our body does when it comes to healing energetic wounds and subconscious emotions that are stored in the body?
Today, we walk through my experience with panic attacks and experimenting with trusting my body and letting the process play out completely. The results surprised me and left me with an incredible lesson on what "letting go" truly means.
